While husband Cash Warren is away filming in China, Jessica has been keeping herself occupied by hanging out with celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe, who previously worked with Nicole Richie and Mischa Barton.

After dining together at Tony's Taverna several nights previously, Jessica and Rachel met up on Malibu beach on Monday for an afternoon of alfresco fun with cute little Honor

However, her daughter was dressed in a more colourful ensemble of a pink and red romper suit and white sunhat.

Jessica and Honor were accompanied by celebrity stylist Rachel Zoe

With Honor having just started walking in recent weeks, Jessica kept a close distance behind her daughter as she waddled through the sand.

Since giving birth to Honor in June last year, Jessica's career appears to be busier than ever.

This year alone, she has filmed roles in drama An Invisible Sign of My Own and murder mystery The Killer Inside Me.

Jessica points out a boat to her inquisitive daughter

She is currently filming her third movie this year, starring alongside Ashton Kutcher, Anne Hathaway, Julia Roberts and Jessica Biel, entitled Valetine's Day.

Writing on her MySpace page this month, Jessica also revealed she is working on a top secret project.

She said: 'I have been working hard on a few new projects that I think you guys will hopefully love.

'I am really trying to push myself beyond my comfort zone. Will come back soon and post more details
