Heroes Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia to Make Comic-Con Appearance

Panettiere, who plays Claire, and Ventimiglia, who plays Peter, have been the subject of controversy ever since they started dating in December 2007 which they initially denied.

While some were pleased with their relationship, many were appalled, in part because of their 12-year age gap.

The couple called it quits in February, after reports surfaced that Panettiere was spotted with 21-year-old Jesse McCartney at a bar where the more age appropriate lovers were reportedly all over one another.

The split was reportedly mutual so there's no need to worry about the tension on the set of the NBC series. However, rumors surged once again that Panettiere is playing it dirty on Heroes, and wants nothing to do with her ex-boyfriend.
